I still stand by my previous statement: For $5 I can buy a beach ball from Wal-Mart that inflates to over 36″ in diameter, can be sat upon by full size adults, myself included (without fear of it bursting under my weight), can be deflated for easy storage, and should it be punctured, is easily repairable with clear packing tape. Then, inflating them to 36″ won’t make them as fragile.

My recommendations to the company that markets these: If you really want them to be filled so large, have the manufacturer (in China, no less) make the skin thicker. They are made from Medical Silicone (the same stuff breast implants are made from) and like all balloon-like items, the bigger it is, the easier it is to pop. Let the buyer beware! These are NOT some super new awesome product. But, armed with these findings, I reviewed the ball on ‘their’ Facebook page, and they banned my account! I declined as it was unnecessary since ‘wubbles’ come with a replacement guarantee. To my credit, I was able to coax her height and weight from her before she sat on it (5’6″ 135lbs), and to her credit, she apologized profusely and even offered to replace the ball.
It was on grass, and thankfully she was unhurt when the ‘wubble’ popped out from under her. The second one, I enlisted the aid of a passing by lady to test this so called “You can sit on them” advertisement. The first one caught some wind and flew into a stand of trees, got punctured and popped when I finally retrieved it. Inflated them to the recommended diameter of 36″ (3 feet) and tested them. I got my first ‘wubbles’ about a week before they went on sale. It really is surprising to see so many positive reviews on something that is clearly not worth the money or the press.

I think the toy is great and I really do enjoy having it! It is deflatable too and if you have the pump you can take it to the park, beach, or wherever you want! I think kids would REALLY enjoy it!
